West Middlesex Maternity Unit

At the Maternity Unit we have a midwife led birth centre which has four individual birth rooms.

Two rooms have active birth pools.

The rooms all have active birth equipment such as bean bags, mats, ropes, balls and birthing stools to help in labour.

All forms of pain relief except epidural are available in the birth centre.

If all is well you can expect to go home from here within four to six hours and your care will be continued at home by your team midwives.
