We have a small team of midwives who provide home-based antenatal and post-natal care with a choice of hospital or home birth. We provide this service in the area local to the West Middlesex University Hospital (see areas covered, right).

Our midwives provide your antenatal care in your home setting and, along with another midwife, will be on call for your delivery and then provide your postnatal care. This is the ideal style of care for you if you are dedicated to aim for a normal delivery or home birth or would benefit from having the support and continuity from one midwife in your home setting.

You will usually be automatically booked into the main midwifery team but if you would rather be cared for by a caseload midwife, then please refer yourself by emailing wmu-tr.caseloadmidwives@nhs.net or phone 020 8321 5359. We will be happy to provide your care if we have room in our caseload. You must refer yourself to us within one week of receiving your booking appointment or by attending an early bird session.
